Picture of exmachinaissue13 Our resident Mayor/superhero tackles more politics, hassle from having been a superhero, something that says they were created by him, and his own deep, dark, family past.

As always the gorgeous, crisp, expressive art takes what might seem to many fanboys as a slow script, into greater heights. Brian K Vaughan's writers-eye is primarily filmic, and Tony Harris's style is suited. You won't find challenging panel transitions or new leaps in comics evolution here, but you will find a luscious looking real world with good dialogue and a solid core of intelligent story-telling.

Not for kids - not because it's graphic or gory, or sexy or sordid, but rather because the gravity of situations involving personal choice through politics is a subtle realm.

Enjoy it immensely or get bored easily, that's your choice, decided by your attention span, intelligence, ability to be adult, and ultimately willingness to turn off your preconceptions and enjoy a more sophisticated form of story-telling by Messrs. Vaughan, Harris et al.
