About us

Hailing from a tiny island you might have heard of, named Britain, one drunken night we came up with the idea to do our own reviews of Graphic Novels. And so PlanetGraphicNovel.com was born.

Our idea was simple, to be able to review graphic novels, allow any user to log in and write their own reviews and offer a database of all known graphic novels (This might take a while for us to do, but by the great beard of Alan Moore we shall accomplish this).

We want to be the first place people think about whether it’s looking for reviews, or finding about new graphic novels or looking for the details of the next novel in a Series.

Over the next few months we will be rapidly adding content and adding features. Let us know what you would like to see on this site via our forums and we will try incorporate it.

How we Review
A review in the end is an opinion, and we promise to give an honest, unbiased opinion of the novels we review. Our score board is scaled to a 100. We feel that this give us enough of room to give a proper score.

Where do we get our synopsises?
We try obtain all our synopsises from an official site. If we have made any error, email us at contact@planetgraphicnovel.com

Why haven’t we got your favourite graphic novel up yet?
Chances are, we just haven’t got round to it yet. Let us know via our Forums, and we will post the info as soon as.

And why haven’t we reviewed your favourite graphic novel?
Again,we may not have gotten round to it yet or there is a chance we haven’t read it yet. In the mean time if you have a strong opinion about it feel free to post your own review.

The Lads:  

Crozon – A fairly newcomer to the graphic novel scene, he first encounted graphic novels on a business trip to the states, where he picked up The Watchmen, V for vendetta and John Constantine –original sins, because he though they looked cool. And not just cool as he soon realised but amazingly told and brilliantly brought to life by the Artists and like that he was hooked.

Besides his obsession with graphic novels, he is also a metal head , movie buff (or so he likes to think) and Gamer (Belongs to that age old bastion, PC gamer, and who likes to think PC games rule even in this age of 360’s PS3’s and wii’s)
